FIGAN 2023 was last month, a major event for NUTEGA, the CCPA’s affiliate in Spain which successfully promoted there the Thermo® brand.
FIGAN 2023: more than 1500 visitors on Nutega booth to talk about Thermo®
One of the most awaited appointments on the trade fair calendar, FIGAN is the meeting point for the animal production sector in Spain. It took place from March 28 to 31. This was an opportunity for the local subsidiary of the CCPA Group, NUTEGA to meet its customers. The stand thus welcomed more than 1,500 visitors.
The Thermo® brand was promoted through numerous events. Clients and prospects were able to taste spicy Mexican food and see for themselves the interest of spices. Visitors also had the opportunity to prepare for the summer with 1,000 sun-visors and parasols.

Heat stress in breeding at the heart of discussions
The abnormally high temperatures at the end of March made it possible to discuss heat stress and its impacts in breeding. The theme of feed formulation was obviously addressed.
High cost of fats hinders possible adaptations in summer formulation. At the same time, many discussions focused on Nutega’s nutritional solutions: in feed with Thermo®Control in pigs, Thermo®Plus in ruminants and Feedstim Poultry in poultry, as well as distributed directly in livestock with Hydralac.
Several factors will help promote these products this year: a more buoyant market, very good farrowing at the start of the year and therefore a lot of animals to raise in the summer and the very good feedback from customers with these products. User breeders have observed less mortality on their sows thanks to the use of these products. Thermo® products will be crucial to ensure animal performance over the coming summer.
